About the role

The Licensed Relationship Banker is a trusted advisor responsible for delivering exceptional client service, deepening relationships, and driving branch growth through consultative guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage and expand a client portfolio by building lasting relationships and acquiring new clients.
• Engage clients in person and via phone, understanding their financial goals to recommend tailored banking, investment, and insurance solutions.
• Open, service, and support accounts, including digital banking enrollment, and process credit requests.
• Drive growth through deposits, loans, investments, and fee income, collaborating with internal specialists and cross-functional teams.
• Educate clients on digital tools and financial wellness, handle inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Monitor portfolios for changes, operate within risk parameters, and participate in community activities and team initiatives.
• Support team goals through training, coaching, and community engagement, modeling collaboration and company values.
• Note: This role does not process teller transactions.

Qualifications and Skills

High school diploma or GED required; college degree or military experience preferred. Minimum 5-10 years experience in retail banking or financial services with a proven results record. Strong communication, problem-solving, and product knowledge presentation skills. Proficiency with banking systems, CRM tools, and office software. Ability to learn quickly, follow procedures meticulously, and support flexible hours, including potential Saturday shifts. Bilingual skills are a plus. Active FINRA Series 6, Series 63 registrations required; additional licensing may be needed based on duties. Compliance with background checks, S.A.F.E. Act, and ongoing training is mandatory.
