Full-Time Banker

Role Overview: This position involves providing exceptional sales and customer service support to clients, including processing financial transactions, opening deposit accounts, cross-selling products, and resolving inquiries. Key Responsibilities Perform daily financial transactions such as deposits, currency handling, and check cashing.Open and process new demand and time deposit accounts, including savings, IRAs, and certificates of deposit.Identify client needs through consultative conversations and recommend suitable banking products and services.Cross-sell bank products, refer clients to partners, and generate new business.Assist clients with loan applications and coordinate processing with relevant associates.Deliver excellent client experiences, respond promptly to account issues, and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.Conduct outbound calls and participate in campaigns to engage clients and prospects.Support daily banking center operations, including audit controls and training new associates.Stay informed of operational updates, ensure adherence to risk management and internal controls, and attend training to enhance knowledge. Qualifications & Skills High school diploma or GED; 1+ year of Teller experience preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, office equipment, and basic computer skills.Strong communication, client service, and problem-solving abilities.Ability to research, resolve issues, and perform job duties satisfactorily.Knowledge of banking regulations, policies, and risk management practices.In addition, familiarity with 10-key calculators, coin counters, and related equipment is preferred. Supervisory & Other Responsibilities: No supervisory duties; support and assist banking center staff as needed and participate in training activities.
