Full Time Armed Security Officer

About the role

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring the premises, including patrolling a variety of locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Frequently our Armed Security Officers will provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers and serve as a physical deterrent.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and patrol various locations to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Enforce regulations and directives for client sites regarding personnel, visitors, and the area.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Serve as a physical deterrent to ensure a secure environment.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma or GED.
• Above average computer and technology skills.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills.
• The ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• A great attention to detail and vigilance throughout the shift.
• The ability to respond to emergencies with rapid and effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willingness to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 2 years of armed experience.
• Pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification.
• The ability to conduct patrols throughout the shift.
• The ability to conduct access control duties.

Qualifications

• Must have the legal right to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to provide the office with a reliable phone number where the officer can be reached at all times (i.e. cellular).
• Must have a strong work ethic.

Skills

• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills are a plus.

$25.80 per hour.
