Full Time Armed Security Officer

About the role

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring cameras, patrolling a variety of locations, security screening, complete reports, and working directly with law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor cameras and patrol various locations.
• Security screening and complete reports.
• Work directly with law enforcement.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.
• Serve as a physical deterrent.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills needed.
• Maintain calm and professionalism in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilant throughout shift.
• Respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.
• Willing to participate in the Company’s pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
• 2 years of armed experience.
• Pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Reliable phone number available.
• Strong work ethic.
• Strong grasp of appropriate and professional verbal / written communication.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.
• Ability to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Comfortable conducting access control duties.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county and municipal licensing and permit requirements for Security Officers.

Pay

$25.00/HR - Increase at 1 year of service completion.
