Full Time Armed Security Officer

About the role

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Armed Security Officer position helps maintain a safe and secure environment for our clients by actively monitoring cameras, patrolling a variety of locations, security screening, completing reports, and working directly with law enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor cameras and patrol various locations.
• Security screening and report completion.
• Work directly with law enforcement.
• Preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site.
• Provide customer service and information to clients’ employees and customers.
• Serve as a physical deterrent.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Above average computer / technology skills.
• Impeccable customer service and team leadership skills.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Great attention to detail and vigilance throughout shift.
• Ability to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgment and use appropriate escalation.

Qualifications

• 2 years of armed experience.
• Pass pre-hire testing assignment and shooting qualification.
• Reliable personal vehicle.
• Legal right to work in the United States.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English.
• Relevant phone number for contact during shifts.
• Strong work ethic.
• Professional verbal / written communication.
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
• Ability to conduct patrols throughout shift.
• Comfortable conducting access control duties.

Skills

• Security experience.

$25.00/HR - (Increase at 1 year of service completion)
