Full Service Technician

About the role

The Full-Service Technician is responsible for the stacking process for a rewind transformer, using a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurements used in the rewind process.

Responsibilities

• Perform the stacking process for a rewind transformer
• Use a caliper and tape measure to create precise measurements used in the rewind process
• Use a series of hand tools to complete the stacking of core steel
• Cut transformer lids
• Perform basic data entry into labor system (MOM)
• Practice safe behaviors by wearing proper protective equipment when handling core steel
• May operate overhead crane or forklift as necessary
• Cross train on set up and teardown as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Mechanical and electrical knowledge
• Cooperative attitude towards all internal and external customers
• Help team members resolve questions
• A dependable and strong work ethic, work safely
• Professional language and conduct at all times
• Must be willing and able to complete repetitive processes and stand for 8-10 hours a day

Qualifications

• Wiring experience is a plus
• Technical, mechanical, or electrical experience/college is a plus
