Full Service Technician

About the role

Recondition, reassemble, and test three-phase pad mount transformers while complying with all safety requirements, product quality standards, and company policies. Follow work orders to rebuild transformers to customer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Gather parts and tools needed for each work order and verify they are in good working condition before use.
• Clean and inspect transformer components, replace gaskets, change oil, and perform basic repairs.
• Perform quality checks and basic testing on units before they leave the workstation.
• Safely and appropriately use shop equipment, tools, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.
• Return equipment to its proper location after use.
• Maintain safe, clean, and orderly workstations.
• Assist team members with questions and workload as needed.
• Perform other assigned duties as required.

Requirements

• Experience in electrical and mechanical areas.
• Transformer work history preferred.
• Cooperative attitude toward all internal and external customers.
• Dependable and strong work ethic with a focus on safety.
• Professional language and conduct at all times.
• Ability to learn other areas to fill in where required.
