Fulfillment Area Manager

About the role

The Area Manager supports QVC, overseeing the distribution operation department and partnering with other departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, product handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Network and consult with corporate and site resources to maintain low-cost efficiencies and high service levels.
• Model QVC Group values and operating principles to foster a positive, engaging culture.
• Review operations for potential improvements in cost reduction, speed, and customer service.
• Oversee daily operations and partner with other departments.
• Identify and report trends and irregularities, and develop plans to address deficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience in a high-volume distribution center or warehouse environment.

This role is onsite and requires daily work at the Suffolk, VA fulfillment center. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
