Fulfillment Center Area Manager

About the role

The Area Manager supports QVC, overseeing the distribution operation department and partnering with other departments. Reporting to the Operations Manager, this role requires working onsite at the Florence, SC fulfillment center daily.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, product handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Network and consult with corporate and site resources to maintain low-cost efficiencies and high service levels.
• Model QVC Group values and operating principles to foster a positive, engaging culture.
• Review operations to identify areas for improvement, including cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
• Oversee daily operations, partner with other departments, and address trends and irregularities.
• Analyze deficiencies and develop corrective plans.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of leadership/supervisory experience in a high-volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Experience in creating a positive work environment and collaborating with employees.
