Fulfillment Center Area Manager

About the role

The Area Manager supports QVC, overseeing the distribution operation department and partnering with other departments. This role requires working from the Ontario, CA fulfillment center daily.

Responsibilities

• Develop and administer operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, product handling, and inventory accuracy.
• Network and consult with corporate and site resources to maintain low-cost efficiencies and high service levels.
• Model QVC Group values and operating principles to foster a positive, motivating, and engaging culture.
• Review existing operations to identify areas for improvement, including cost reduction, increased speed, and improved customer service.
• Oversee daily operations for assigned area, collaborating with other departments.
• Identify and report trends and irregularities, developing plans to address deficiencies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of demonstrated leadership/supervisory experience in a high-volume distribution center or warehouse environment.
• Experience in creating a positive work environment and partnering with employees.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
