About the role
Knife River is seeking a motivated and experienced Fuel Oiler to join our team. The position requires independent and team-based work, including travel and exposure to extreme weather conditions. Candidates must be able to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Operate fueling equipment and vehicles
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Manage fuel storage and distribution
- Support maintenance of heavy construction equipment
- Work collaboratively with other team members
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of experience as a Fuel Oiler
- Extensive knowledge of heavy construction equipment
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement
- Clean driving record
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug test and background check
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of heavy construction equipment and safety protocols
