Fuel Oiler
About the role
Knife River is seeking a motivated and experienced Fuel Oiler to join our team. The position requires working independently and as part of a team, traveling frequently, and working in various shifts including nights and weekends. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 4 years' experience as a Fuel Oiler, a Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, and a clean driving record.
Responsibilities
- Operate fueling equipment to ensure proper fueling of vehicles and equipment.
- Monitor fuel levels and perform regular maintenance checks on fueling systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate fueling activities.
- Handle hazardous materials according to safety protocols.
- Perform routine inspections of fueling equipment and facilities.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of fueling records.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a Fuel Oiler.
- Extensive knowledge of heavy construction equipment.
- Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement.
- Clean driving record.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
