About the role
The Aspire Advanced Practice Provider is a vital part of our clinical staff in our mission to cure patients who suffer from allergies and sinus problems. They will deliver a memorable experience for our patients with each interaction they have, ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction are top of mind.
Clinic Location & Schedule: 1335 East Whitestone Blvd. Suite 120 Cedar Park, TX 78613, Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Clinics are closed on evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain medical histories focused on allergy and sinus conditions.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic allergic and sinus conditions, including allergic rhinitis, chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps, and asthma.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including allergy testing, sinus CT scans, and pulmonary function tests.
- Develop individualized treatment plans including medications, immunotherapy, and procedural recommendations.
- Perform and assist with in-office procedures such as administration and supervision of allergy immunotherapy, nasal endoscopy, and educate patients on disease management, treatment options, and medication use.
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Document all patient encounters accurately in EHR within 24 hours of their visit.
- Oversee and manage both food and environmental allergy testing for patients by utilizing both Percutaneous Allergy Skin Testing and Intracutaneous Allergy Testing.
- Provide pre-op and post-op evaluation and treatment after a variety of surgeon performed sinus procedures.
- Develop relationships with referring medical providers and the local medical community.
- Attend lunches and events with the assigned territory provider relationship rep. to help garner credibility and market Aspire.
- Adhere to standard metrics: Testing (50% minimum threshold), Treatment (30% minimum threshold), IOP Conversion (7% minimum threshold).
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3+ Years of Practicing as a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner.
- Graduate from an approved Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardia Life Support (ACLS) Certified.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
