The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team at EY is growing rapidly. As a Senior, you will play a pivotal role in driving this growth by developing new and enhancing existing client relationships, leading highly skilled project teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through high-profile engagements.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate basic to intermediate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts.
- Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.
- Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
- Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
- Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.
- Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies.
- Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the FAAS team.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state.
- At least 2 years of related work experience in audit field for insurance, banking, or asset management industries.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites.
- An ideal candidate would have knowledge of current market issues in financial services in the US and experience with FP&A & Reinsurance.

Pay
The base salary range for this role in the US is $90,800 to $149,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $109,000 to $170,200. Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills, and geography.
Schedule
Our expectation is for most people in external, client-serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year. We offer a flexible vacation policy where you decide how much vacation time you need based on your personal circumstances.
