About the role

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team at EY is growing rapidly. As a Senior, you will play a pivotal role in this growth by developing your career through strategic communication and collaboration with clients and internal partners.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on complex accounting issues
• Collaborate with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations
• Ensure the Engagement team thoroughly understands clients' unique needs, ambitions, and expectations
• Build relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service
• Manage performance and identify opportunities to improve our products and processes
• Think creatively and uniquely to solve complex issues
• Travel regularly to meet with key clients

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in an accounting, finance, or business discipline, with approximately 3 to 5 years of experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm
• Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state
• Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge
• A deep understanding of the marketplace, commonly used terminology, processes, and tools
• A proven record of excellence when managing, mentoring, and improving a team of high-performing colleagues
• The confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies
• The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary

• Comprehensive compensation and benefits package
• Base salary range: $90,800 to $149,800 (all geographic locations in the US)
• Base salary range: $109,000 to $170,200 (New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento)

Pay

• Base salary range: $90,800 to $149,800 (all geographic locations in the US)
• Base salary range: $109,000 to $170,200 (New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California excluding Sacramento)

Schedule

• Most people in external, client-serving roles will work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project, or year.
• Individuals may be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support their physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
