About the role

The Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team at EY is growing rapidly. As a Senior, you will play a pivotal role in driving this growth by developing new and enhancing existing client relationships, leading highly skilled project teams, and delivering exceptional customer experiences through high-profile engagements.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate basic to intermediate knowledge of complex financial accounting concepts.
  • Manage projects and engagements profitably by leading the team to perform efficiently.
  • Understand the client's industry and recognize key performance drivers, business trends, and emerging technical and industry developments.
  • Stay informed of general business/economic developments and their impact to the client.
  • Develop and maintain long-term productive client relationships and networks.
  • Coach and develop people by sharing knowledge with team members and helping team members attain experiences that cultivate technical competencies.
  • Develop people by encouraging individuals to think for themselves and take responsibility for their contributions to the FAAS team.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Eligibility to obtain US CPA licensure in your work state.
  • At least 2 years of related work experience in audit field for insurance, banking or asset management industries.
  • The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
  • Access to reliable transportation to/from the EY office and client sites. A driver's license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.

What We Offer

  • A comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.
  • The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $90,800 to $149,800.
  • Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
