FS Warehouse Sr. Storekeeper
Salary range: $23.80 – $33.36/hour. Expected pay scale for this position: $23.80 – $28.47/hour, based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and organizational needs.
About the role
The Facilities Services (FS) Warehouse Sr. Storekeeper manages warehouse inventory and material operations, ensuring compliance with internal audit, UCR/UCOP policies, and guidelines for an inventorial warehouse of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) material. The role oversees the end-to-end management of supplies, equipment, and materials, with warehouse operations involving an annual cost of goods of approximately $825K.
The ASSET Administrative Services unit provides administrative and operational support in procurement, asset management, internal controls, purchasing, utility and work order billing, data analysis, and material management. The unit manages business operations for the work order system, material and tool inventory (valued at $825K), recharge billing of approximately $20M in revenue, $24M in annual utility bills, and $11M in annual procurement transactions across 9,000 purchase orders and 1,000 Pro-Card transactions.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming goods for quality and accuracy.
- Maintain precise inventory records and ensure secure storage and issuance of stock.
- Collaborate with procurement transactors to order, restock, and compare vendor pricing.
- Ensure compliance with internal audit, UCR/UCOP policies, and procedures for warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Current work authorization for UCR staff positions (sponsorship not available).
- Compliance with University policies and collective bargaining agreements, as well as federal, state, or local government directives.
Pay
$23.80 – $33.36/hour (expected range: $23.80 – $28.47/hour).
