About the role
The Front Office Systems Integrator will work with government IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes. They will work with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement. The role involves translating and documenting business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, or standard operating procedures. Coordination with developers and testers to ensure understanding of requirements and support implementation of tools and features that meet user needs is also part of the responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Work with government IT applications and systems to capture and define system requirements and associated business processes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and define requirements and translate them into system requirements for developers to implement.
- Translate and document business needs, processes, and procedures into detailed user stories, process charts and workflows, or standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to support the full lifecycle of requirements management, including gathering, analyzing, verifying, and validating the needs and requirements for the client system.
Requirements
- TS/SCI with Poly clearance required.
- Experience gathering and writing business or software requirements.
- Experience working collaboratively with team members, government clients, and stakeholders.
- Ability to think critically, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems.
- Ability to perform in a high-paced work environment with multiple competing priorities.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Bachelor's degree.
Additional Qualifications
- Experience supporting the Intelligence Community (IC).
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and make progress in areas where high ambiguity and uncertainty exists.
- Knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle Process and Agile development.
- Experience with Microsoft Visio.
- Experience with Agile tools, including Jira.
- Experience with writing requirements as features or user stories.
- Experience with business process improvement.
- Experience working and collaborating with technical staff and engineers.
- Experience with systems engineering or software development.
