Front Office Lead - Pediatrics

About the role

The Front Office Lead is responsible for leading the daily workflow of the front office. Duties include scheduling patient appointments, greeting patients and visitors, answering and directing phone calls, checking patients in and out, verifying insurance eligibility, and assisting in general office duties.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Knowledge of electronic medical record system preferred
• A minimum of three years experience in healthcare performing like duties required
• Ability to problem solve
• Excellent interpersonal communication ability
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate professionally with the public
• Math skills to manage cash, change, checks and credit card transactions
• Knowledge of operating various types of office machinery and applicable software applications
• Knowledge of insurance verification software
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow PHV HIPAA regulations
• Knowledge of medical office scheduling
• Knowledge of medical office terminology
• Ability to work under fast paced and stressful conditions
• Ability to work with frequent interruptions

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Clinic Hours are Monday through Friday, 8AM to 5PM (Actual scheduled hours may vary depending on business need).

• May include performing repetitive tasks
• May include working with challenging patients and clients
• May include lifting up to 25 pounds
