Responsibilities
- To be thoroughly acquainted with all check-in & checkout procedures and policies.
- To be able to make, change & cancel reservations.
- To be familiar with all technical equipment as related to the Front Desk.
- To be familiar with all Resort facilities, outlets and hours of operation.
- To be familiar with the inter-relationship between the different departments.
- To be able to complete multiple tasks for guests in a timely & efficient manner.
- To consistently adhere to all resort policy and procedures.
- To consistently meet and greet all guests and provide exceptional guest service in handling all requests.
- To post charges as required.
- To assist in the Resort cross marketing initiatives.
- To up-sell to generate incremental room revenues.
- To consistently answer the telephone in 3 rings and use proper greetings.
- To retain responsibility for a $300 bank, and handle all incoming and outgoing cash accurately.
- To be responsible for effective utilization of resources to assist guests with all requests.
- To never say “no” and always find a way to satisfy guest needs.
- To maintain and sell resort gift cards.
- To maintain a clean and organized work area.
- To possess excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- To have good math skills.
- To be able to stand for long periods of time.
- To exhibit excellent face to face customer service skills.
- To be willing to work varied shifts and days.
- To have a professional attitude and appearance.
- To have prior knowledge of Opera (ideal).
- To have Asian language skills (a plus).
- To adhere to departmental and property standards and procedures.
- To work efficiently and effectively as a member of a team; communicate and cooperate with property staff.
Qualifications
