About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Front of House Lead who thrives in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality. In this hands-on role, you will combine expert service skills with the responsibility of leading and supporting the front-of-house team. The ideal candidate leads by example, sets a high standard of service, and inspires those around them, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service that embodies the Silver Reef standard of hospitality.
- Craft and serve cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages with consistency, accuracy, and care.
- Maintain deep product knowledge and uphold beverage presentation standards.
- Oversee daily floor operations, ensuring efficiency, timing, and guest satisfaction.
- Support and guide servers, bartenders, and hosts during service to maintain a cohesive and professional team dynamic.
- Lead by example through professionalism, teamwork, and poise under pressure.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, and shift reporting.
- Assist with inventory counts, monitor inventory, and coordinate with management on restocking and ordering needs.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment across all guest-facing areas.
- Support new team members through training, guidance, and ongoing professional development.
- Reinforce company values and service standards, fostering a culture of hospitality and teamwork.
- Foster team growth and consistency through hands-on coaching and a commitment to elevated service.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
- At least two years of bartending or serving experience, with one year in a leadership or shift lead capacity in a high-volume restaurant.
- Strong working knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairing.
- Ability to educate team members and customers on beer styles, pairings, and brewing methods.
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guests have a memorable experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems, scheduling software, and inventory management tools.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends.
- Must be available to work evening shifts on designated inventory count days.
- Must have the flexibility to work holidays as necessary.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Utah Food Handlers Permit.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Utah DABS Card.
- The ability to submit to a background check and drug test is required.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk swiftly for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to kneel and bend to obtain items near or on the floor.
- Ability to work outdoors less than 25% of the time.
- Hearing, vision, speech, and literacy skills are critical to this position.
- Ability to work in environments that are smoky, noisy, hot, cold, or humid.
- Must have the ability to carry service trays overhead and lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.

Schedule
- In-person in St. George, UT. Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).
- Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
