Due to federal contract requirements, United States Citizenship and an appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI security clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph) is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
• JavaScript / CSS / HTML coding and code review.
• Work closely with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to build holistic user experiences.
• Help define and interact with REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues in applications and provide support.
• Write unit tests and conduct quality assurance testing.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Clearance Requirement: Must obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance (not required on day one); U.S. Citizenship required.
• At least 5 years of experience with front-end software development/engineering with a B.S. Degree in Computer Science or related field; 3 years relevant experience with a Master’s in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
• Must be able to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 2 days per week at our San Antonio office. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Skills

Required Technical Skills

• Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
• Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
• Self-motivation; ability to multi-task and prioritize open issues/tickets accordingly.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to review information and compile data appropriately as needed.

Desired Technical Skills

• Current Clearances: Active Secret or Top Secret clearances are a strong plus.
• Previous experience with a Data Lake/Warehouse is a plus.
• DoD 8140 / 8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.
