Enlighten is looking for a motivated Frontend Developer who is passionate about building intuitive applications that meet the needs of our users. Essential Job Responsibilities

• Aid in the creation, enhancement, and maintenance of web applications.
• Write JavaScript, CSS, and HTML code and conduct code reviews.
• Collaborate with designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to develop comprehensive user experiences.
• Define and interact with REST-based APIs.
• Troubleshoot customer-reported issues and provide support.
• Write unit tests and perform quality assurance testing.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• Active Top Secret U.S. Government Security Clearance; U.S. Citizenship required.
• At least 5 years of experience with front-end software development/engineering with a B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master's degree in related field; or 9 years of relevant experience with a High School diploma or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with JavaScript and proficiency in one or more web application frameworks (such as Vue, React, Angular, or Backbone).
• Familiarity with Git or other version control software.
• Comfortable working on a *nix command line.
• Self-motivated; capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritizing open issues/tickets.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze and compile data as necessary.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment, spending an average of 2-3 days per week at our Columbia, MD office or Fort Meade onsite. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.

Preferred Requirements

• Previous experience with a Data Lake/Warehouse.
• DoD 8140/8570 compliance certifications may be required in this position as directed by the customer.

Pay

Anticipated Salary Range: $115,199.00 - $140,000.00. The salary range for this role is intended as a good faith estimate based on the role's location, expectations, and responsibilities. When extending an offer, Enlighten takes a variety of factors into consideration, including the role's function, internal equity, and a candidate's education or training, work experience, certifications, and key skills.

Schedule

Work is performed in a hybrid environment with an average of 2-3 days per week at our Columbia, MD office or Fort Meade onsite. Flexibility is essential to adapt to schedule changes as needed.
