Front End Coach

About the Role

This position leads and develops teams effectively, drives financial performance, ensures exceptional customer service, and maintains compliance with company policies. It involves supervising and mentoring associates, managing store operations, and implementing business solutions to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops teams by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates.
• Tours stores, provides feedback, and communicates with all levels of associates regarding store operations.
• Introduces and leads company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance.
• Manages and supports customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs are resolved.
• Drives financial performance by reviewing P&L statements, managing budgets, and controlling expenses.
• Ensures effective merchandise presentation, inventory flow, and operational processes.
• Develops and implements action plans to mitigate shrink and achieve sales and profit goals.
• Coordinates job-related activities, builds relationships with stakeholders, and supports business initiatives.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, ethics, and integrity standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications:
  • 2 years’ of college; OR
  • 1 year’s retail experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience; OR
  • 2 years’ general work experience and 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• For facilities that sell firearms, successful completion of a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training is required.
• For facilities that sell only ammunition, a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supervising 20+ associates.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $65,000.00 - $100,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Certain positions may also include Regional Pay Zone (RPZ) adjustments, Complex Structure allowances, and State Pay Differentials to meet legislative requirements.
