Job Summary The Front End Associate with The Restaurant Store is responsible for delivering a high level of service and satisfaction to all customers in a retail branch location. The Front End Associate supports key operational goals by efficiently handling cashier duties, assisting customers at the front of the store, and serving as the first point of contact for in-store and phone inquiries. This role ensures smooth checkout operations, accurate transactions, organized front-end areas, and effective support with returns, memberships, and customer questions. Through strong customer service strategies and collaboration with branch leadership, the Front End Associate helps advance the goals of our sales, order fulfillment, merchandising and inventory teams. Deliver friendly, efficient front-end customer service and ensure a smooth checkout experienceConsistently achieve high levels of point-of-sale transactions on a daily basisAssist customers with accurate register transactions, including cash handling and membership verification, as well as loading purchases into customer vehiclesProcess customer returns and ensure items are restocked appropriatelyExpedite customer flow through checkout lanes to minimize wait timesServe as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, providing prompt assistance or directing inquiriesGuide customers within the store and answer questions about policies, memberships, pricing, and general inquiriesMaintain cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes, registers, carts, and the front area of the locationRefill and merchandise impulse products at the front end to support salesPerform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals Physical Requirements Work is performed while standing and/or walking, up to and including 9 hours/day.Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing.Requires the regular use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations.Requires regular bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, and reaching.Requires the ability to regularly lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 50lbs. Experience Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management Education This role does not require a degree.
