About the role
Broward House, Inc. is seeking an Executive Assistant to support the CEO and leadership team. Key responsibilities include:
- Greet visitors professionally and provide program and community information
- De-escalate and triage visitor needs
- Link visitors with appropriate program staff
- Provide administrative support to management
- Manage a multiline phone system and attend to walk-in visitors
- Handle confidential information appropriately
- Maintain a professional and engaging demeanor with diverse populations
- Provide information in a strength-based and trauma-informed manner
Requirements
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and meet established deadlines
- Moderate computer skills required: Microsoft Office, multiple databases, scheduling programs
- Basic office equipment operation skills
- At least 2 years of work experience as a front desk/customer service preferred
- A high school diploma or GED

Schedule

Qualifications
Some physical effort may be required to push, move, and lift light objects less than 20 lbs. Position requires a balance between task and people skills.
