Supervises front office staff
- Ensures an efficient operation producing excellent results for our customers
- Guides guests into the spirit of the brand by offering warmth, a sense of place, and a feeling of belonging
Responds to guests
- Provides accurate and timely information and services to arriving, departing, and in-house guests
- Handles telephone and in-person inquiries regarding reservations, hotel information, and guest concerns
Operates front desk
- Serves as supervisor of the front desk to ensure optimal service and hospitality
- Completes check-in procedures for arriving guests and facilitates guest departure
- Calculates and posts monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit
- Answers inquiries from potential guests and accepts hotel reservations
- Suggestively sells room nights, increasing occupancy and revenue
- Maintains good customer relations by keeping up-to-date on in-house and area functions
Customer service
- Resolves customer issues, complaints, and problems quickly and efficiently to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and quality service
- Controls cash transactions at the front desk and maintains complete responsibility for personal bank as specified by hotel bank agreement policy
Physical Demands

- Frequent use of phone and excellent speech communication skills required
- Continuous standing 90% of time - communicating with guests
- Prolonged standing at indoor, thermostatically climate-controlled work station under florescent lighting
