Front Desk/Kids Club Associate

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet all members, guests, and prospective members with a positive, high-energy, and welcoming attitude at all times.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring each interaction reflects the URGE FITNESS brand.
  • Check members and guests in and out using membership software and verify access credentials.
  • Answer incoming phone calls, respond to basic inquiries, and direct questions to appropriate staff or management.
  • Absorb and assist with new member sign-ins, guest passes, and general facility information.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
  • Enforce club policies and procedures courteously and consistently.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth daily operations.

Kids Club Responsibilities

  • Actively engage with children ages 3 months to 11 years in a fun, attentive, and developmentally appropriate manner.
  • Supervise children at all times to ensure their safety, well-being, and enjoyment.
  • Participate in age-appropriate play, activities, and interaction throughout the entire shift.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe Kids Club environment.
  • Follow all Kids Club policies, check-in/check-out procedures, and safety protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with parents/guardians regarding their child’s experience.

Facility Support & Stocking

  • Stock and replenish basic janitorial and facility supplies, including but not limited to: Paper towels, Toilet paper, Sanitizer, Cleaning and hygiene products.
  • Absorb and assist with light cleaning and organization of front desk, Kids Club, and common areas as needed.
  • Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly to management.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 45 pounds consistently.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
  • Comfortable working in an active, high-energy fitness environment.

Schedule Availability

Applicants must be available for one or more of the following shifts:

  • Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
  • Monday – Thursday: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • Friday 4:00 PM-7:00 PM
  • Weekends: 8:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Friendly, energetic, and professional demeanor.
  • Dependable and punctual.
  • Comfortable working with children of various ages.
  • Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure.
  • Team-oriented with a willingness to help where needed.
  • Prior customer service or childcare experience preferred, but not required.
