About the Role
The front desk team member provides information and resources for residents and guests to ensure a meaningful visit. This role serves as a key liaison between all community guests and residents, delivering exceptional customer service while upholding the company’s mission and GREAT values: Greeting and smiling, showing respect with name recognition and eye contact, exceeding expectations, demonstrating enthusiasm, accountability, and trustworthiness.

Responsibilities
- Greet all guests in a standing, upright position as they enter the community, maintaining high-quality customer service.
- Coordinate with office administrative staff to maintain and update unit owner information in the computer database.
- Utilize proper phone etiquette for all incoming and outgoing calls to residents, ensuring clarity and professionalism.
- Report any violations of Rules and Regulations observed at any time.
- Be familiar with fire alarm system operations and report all incidents to management.
- Call police or fire departments in emergencies, such as fires or unauthorized persons.
- Follow all emergency response policies and procedures, coordinating with Management, Chief Engineer, or Fire Rescue/Police services.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities for management.
- Report maintenance issues, including burned-out lights, leaks, and broken equipment, to the Association office daily.
Work Environment
- Indoor setting with frequent standing.
- Low to moderate noise level in the workplace.
Physical Demands
- Occasionally required to sit, stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push, and pull items weighing up to 30 pounds.
- Requires manual dexterity, auditory and visual skills, and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Ability to detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; some college preferred.
- Familiarity with computer software for various tasks.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Minimum six months of related experience and/or training.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) may be required at some locations.
- Previous work experience in the hospitality industry highly preferred.
Schedule
Days and hours of work will be determined at the property and may change to accommodate business needs. This is a non-exempt position with no expected travel.
