About the role
The Hotel Zamora, a boutique hotel in St. Pete Beach, FL, is seeking a Front Desk Associate. The hotel offers stunning views, rooftop lounge, sidewalk restaurant, private dining, and meeting/banquet space. Sherman Associates, a real estate development and management company, is now managing the hotel, emphasizing a commitment to guests and a strong vision for the future.
Responsibilities
- Ensures every guest is greeted and welcomed on arrival
- Registers and books guests, verifying reservation, address, email address and credit information
- Proficient on kiosk operations to assist when necessary
- Answers all inbound calls in a professional manner
- Has an intimate knowledge of the hotel facilities and the local geographic area
- Accepts payment for guests' accounts at the time of registration and at checkout
- Maintains a house bank and makes a deposit and accurate report of receipts daily
- Processes all retail transactions for the guest
- Restocks and assures overall cleanliness of Retail
- Issues luggage claims and checks guest luggage when requested
- Takes pride in the overall look and feel of the hotel, ensuring cleanliness and conditions are at their peak at all times
- Respectfully listens and responds to guest complaints in an efficient and professional manner
- Completes additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in a public contact position
- Customer service experience in the hospitality industry strongly preferred
- Basic computer knowledge and some knowledge in word, excel, outlook, and internet
- As applicable, must possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with insurance and safe DMV driving record
- A passion for the mission, vision, and values of Sherman Associates
Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle with insurance and a safe DMV driving record

We are currently seeking part-time AND full-time availability to include both weekdays and weekends!
