Front Desk Associate

About the role

The Front Desk Associate role at Planet Fitness involves providing a superior level of customer service to members, guests, and fellow PF team members. Responsibilities include greeting members and guests, assisting with inquiries, resolving concerns, performing membership-related functions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club
• Assist with any questions or concerns
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and offering support
• Resolve member concerns and escalate to a manager if necessary
• Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries
• Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, cancellations, and transfers
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours
• Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals
• Clean and sanitize exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities
• Maintain restrooms and communal spaces
• Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment preferred
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness)
• Basic computer proficiency

Qualifications

• Physical demands: continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, cleaning and sanitizing, bending, twisting, and addressing safety/policy issues
