About the role
The Front Desk Associate role at Planet Fitness involves providing a superior level of customer service to members, guests, and fellow PF team members. Responsibilities include greeting members and guests, assisting with inquiries, resolving concerns, performing membership-related functions, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests as they enter and exit the club
- Assist with any questions or concerns
- Promote the Judgement Free Zone by connecting with members and offering support
- Resolve member concerns and escalate to a manager if necessary
- Answer phones and assist callers with inquiries
- Perform membership-related functions such as sign-ups, cancellations, and transfers
- Conduct prospective member calls and tours
- Execute retail transactions and drive sales goals
- Clean and sanitize exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities
- Maintain restrooms and communal spaces
- Address maintenance and facility concerns promptly
Requirements
- 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment (preferred)
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness)
- Basic computer proficiency
Qualifications
- Physical demands include continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, and frequent cleaning and sanitizing.
