The Front Desk Associate Will Serve as campus receptionist; answer the phone, respond to voicemails, and pass on relevant information to the appropriate staff member

  1. Warmly welcome both current and prospective students and their families
  2. Manage and respond to customer inquiries both by phone and email
  3. Maintain multiple calendars, schedule meetings and ensure everything is up-to-date
Use internal database to generate reports and lists, and perform data entry tasks
  1. Provide admissions assistance as needed with consultation requests, scheduling, and post-consultation follow-ups
  2. Organize and prepare classroom and office supplies
  3. Take inventory to support campus operations
  4. Supervise students between classes
  5. Perform light cleaning duties and tidying up the facility
  6. Absorb responsibility for the organization, operation, and appearance of the lobby and front desk area
  7. Aid full-time staff with other campus procedures to ensure things are running smoothly
  8. Participate in occasional outreach/inreach opportunities
Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Experience confidently interacting with customers; experience interacting with families and students (elementary through high school) preferred

  1. Strong organizational and computer skills
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of correct grammar, spelling, and English usage
Establish and maintain positive, effective working relationships with students, parents, staff, and the general public
  1. Maintain flexibility to effectively solve problems under pressure
Administrative and/or customer service experience
  1. Proficiency with Google Workspace applications (i.e. Docs, Sheets, Calendar, etc.)
Motivated to learn new technologies
  1. Maintain customer confidentiality
Excited about our mission of motivating high-performing students
  1. Lift up to 25lbs

Qualifications

Part-time position at our Redmond, Washington campus

  1. Front Desk hours are weekday afternoons/evenings and weekends during the academic year
  2. Monday through Friday day shifts available during the summer

Pay

Pay Rate: Range of 21.13 - 21.63/hour
