Front Desk Agent $20/HR

About the role

The Front Offices at SH Hotels & Resorts are at the heart of every hotel, and our front-of-house staff are some of the most important members of the team, because they are the first to meet our guests. They also have the first opportunity to provide them with impeccable service, and often to reflect a first glimpse of the brand’s best self.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that every guest’s experience is relaxing and effortless—at arrival and departure and all through the stay.
• Meet and greet guests with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
• Handle check-in and check-out procedures efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve any issues promptly.
• Answer phones and emails professionally and courteously.
• Manage room reservations and availability.
• Follow up with guests for feedback and to address any concerns.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the front desk area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Passionate about hotel operations and guest service with a minimum of 1 year of similar work experience.
• Ability to speak a secondary language is a plus.
• Experience in guest or customer service.
• A team player, hard worker, multi-tasker and detail oriented.
• Flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
