About the role
You will operate a forklift, receive and stock merchandise, maintain safety and merchandising standards, provide member service, and support inventory control in a Sam’s Club facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklift and pallet jacks following company safety standards and guidelines.
- Receive, stock, and organize merchandise and supplies from distribution centers and suppliers; manage inventory flow, correct shelf capacities, and complete required documentation.
- Provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying needs, assisting with purchasing decisions, resolving issues, and promoting products and services.
- Maintain facility safety by conducting safety sweeps, following hazardous material handling procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintain sales floor and merchandising presentation by zoning, stocking, rotating merchandise, setting up displays, processing defective goods, and monitoring shrink and security risks.
- Ensure club pick-up orders are accurately picked, staged, and audited according to company policy.
- Track inventory, maintain in-stock levels, control shrinkage, and report low stock or poor inventory practices.
- Proactively assist members with technology services and items, identify shrink opportunities, and maintain equipment and product organization.

Requirements
- 90 days of prior experience with forklift certification.
- Ability to safely utilize pallet jacks.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.

- Customer service experience.
- Retail experience.
- Experience supervising a team.

Pay
The hourly wage range for this position is $20.00 to $28.00. The actual hourly rate will meet or exceed the minimum wage for the job location. Additional premiums ranging from $0.35 to $3.00 per hour may apply based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.
