Freelance MEP Engineer for Energy Star HVAC Report Completion

GigBench has an active project in Closter, NJ requiring completion of an Energy Star HVAC Design Report needed to support project funding. The existing MEP design engineer on the project has been unable to complete or cooperate on finishing this report, creating an urgent gap that is holding up the funding process. The ideal freelancer can step into an in-progress scope quickly, review existing HVAC design documentation, and complete the Energy Star reporting requirements with minimal ramp-up time. This is a short-term, high-priority engagement estimated at less than one month. Responsibilities:Review existing HVAC design documentation and identify gaps needed to complete the Energy Star reportComplete all remaining calculations and documentation required for Energy Star HVAC certificationCoordinate with the project team to gather any missing information from prior design workDeliver a finalized report suitable for submission to support project fundingCommunicate progress clearly given the time-sensitive nature of the funding timeline What We're Looking For:Experience completing Energy Star HVAC Design Reports or similar energy compliance documentationAbility to quickly interpret and pick up an in-progress design scope from another engineerStrong working knowledge of HVAC system design and energy modeling requirementsComfortable working under a compressed timeline with minimal onboarding
