Your Mission
- Lead and Grow
- Set department standards, QA/QC processes, and long-term strategy.
- Mentor rising engineers; recruit talent that elevates everyone's game.
- Win and Deliver
- Write compelling proposals, shape fees, and secure high-profile work.
- Oversee HVAC, plumbing, and fire-protection design on projects that test ingenuity and reward excellence.
- Innovate and Influence
- Champion BIM workflows, decarbonization strategies, and next-gen energy modeling.
- Represent SMA at industry events, strengthening a brand you'll soon help own.
Your Toolkit
- BSME/BSAE (MS a plus) and an active PE (PA or ability to obtain quickly).
- 10+ years designing complex building systems with 3+ years leading teams.
- Proven business-development chops and P&L savvy.
- Mastery of HVAC design software; Revit and commissioning expertise welcomed.
- A leadership style that blends rigor with genuine mentorship.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base $150k$200k + performance bonuses + partnership dividends.
