About the role
The Franchise Development Manager (FDM) provides technical and strategic support to Franchise Owners (FBOs) to ensure alignment and execution within Coverall brand standards. Key responsibilities include determining customer allocations, educating FBOs on growth opportunities, and instructing on Coverall's systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Determine allocation of new and existing commercial cleaning customers to FBOs based on geography and scope of work.
- Educate and advise FBOs on recognizing opportunities to grow their business base through additional Special Services and new customer sales.
- Instruct FBOs on implementing Coverall's systems and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability.
- Provide technical training to Coverall employees as needed.
- Onboard all new Franchise Owners through the "First Year Journey" program, completing all associated activities.
- In some cases, act in place of Coverall's General Manager for the operation and management of the local support center, including sales of new franchises and day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and development.
- Experience in the Janitorial industry, including all aspects of commercial cleaning processes, hard floor care, and carpet care (preferred).
- Background in Franchising (preferred).
- Knowledge and experience in selling skills and territory management.
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound independent judgment.
- Strong ethics and values, adhering to Coverall's core values.
- Basic knowledge and skills in business math, reading and interpreting technical data, and using formulas.
- Basic computer skills, including mobile technology, emails, and web applications.
- Effective communication skills, including speaking before groups of FBOs and their customers, and motivating others.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, and successful completion of a background check are required.
Benefits
Pay: $65,000 base
