Franchise Development Manager
Job Summary
The Franchise Development Manager (FDM) provides technical and strategic support to Franchise Owners (FBOs) to ensure alignment and execution within Coverall brand standards. Key responsibilities include allocating new and existing commercial cleaning customers, educating and advising on business growth, and instructing on Coverall's systems and processes.
About the Role
As a subject matter expert, the FDM must demonstrate knowledge and experience in all areas of Coverall’s Core 4 process, including Hard Floor Care, Specialty Floor Care, Window Cleaning, and other on-demand services. They are also responsible for onboarding new Franchise Owners through the “First Year Journey” program and may act as a General Manager in the operation and management of the local support center.
Responsibilities
- Determine allocation of new and existing commercial cleaning customers to FBOs based on geography and scope of work
- Educate and advise FBOs on opportunities to grow their business base through additional Special Services and new customer sales
- Instruct FBOs on the implementation of Coverall’s systems and processes to maximize efficiency and profitability
- Provide technical training to Coverall Employees as needed
- Onboard new Franchise Owners through the “First Year Journey” program
- Act as a General Manager in the operation and management of the local support center, including sales of new franchises and day-to-day operations
Requirements
- Proven experience in training, coaching, and development
- Experience in the Janitorial industry, including commercial cleaning processes, hard floor care, and carpet care
- Background in Franchising is preferred
- Knowledge and experience in selling skills and territory management
- Ability to exercise discretion and sound independent judgment
- Strong ethics and values, adhering to Coverall’s core values
- Basic knowledge and skills in business math, reading and interpreting documents, resolving conflicts, and using computer applications
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of FBOs and their customers, as well as Coverall employees
- Action-oriented with a drive for results, demonstrating perseverance and motivation
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, and successful completion of a background check
Qualifications
