About the role

The primary responsibility of the Fountain Worker is to expedite all food orders quickly while maintaining the quality of service. The Fountain Worker is responsible for maintaining a genuine, cheerful demeanor while always representing Caesar’s brand positively.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, professional, and responsive customer service to restaurant guests and staff.
• Engage in friendly conversations with guests using the 10/5 Rule: 10 feet – make eye contact and smile; 5 feet – greet and speak to guests.
• Accurately input all orders into the POS terminal.
• Accurately post all transactions on the POS terminal, giving correct change; account for all cash, charge, and complimentary sales according to established procedure; maintain integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities.
• Make drinks to order in accordance with established recipes and time guidelines.
• Deliver products to customers in a timely manner.
• Maintain high levels of customer service at all times, thanking guests for their patronage.
• Maintain appropriate level of stock items in the area.
• Assist in maintaining display cases and pastry par levels.
• Keep designated working area clean and organized and assist in maintaining cleanliness of surrounding areas and condiment areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
• Assist co‑workers as needed and assist management in getting food products to customers.
• Assist in training new Fountain Counter Person and new management staff during their training period.
• Perform periodic cleaning tasks assigned by management.
• Attend mandatory meetings and training classes as assigned.
• Resolve guest complaints expeditiously and inform management of the complaints.
• Prepare or serve menu items such as sandwiches or salads, including basic food preparation and service.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• At least 6 months of previous cash‑handling experience.
• Effective communication in English, both verbal and written, in a professional manner.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interact with customers, the public, and co‑workers.
• Ability to use a computer and/or cash register.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift, pull, or push up to 25 lb.
• Ability to twist, bend, or reach without significant limitations.
• Potential exposure to a smoke‑filled environment.
• Possession of a Nevada Health Card.
• Union referral.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple tasks under time constraints.
• Capability to manage heavy business volume and sensitive staff or guest situations in a timely manner.
