About the role

The Founding Product Director will thrive in the 0-to-1 phase, owning the product definition for our flagship experience. The role involves both visionary strategy and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Define the Category: Work with the founders to articulate the "Intent Orchestration" roadmap.
  • Build the Ecosystem: Develop the strategy for our open-source community and the "Delivery Layer."
  • OEM Stewardship: Act as the primary product partner for Acer and future OEMs, ensuring seamless integration into the hardware lifecycle.
  • Ship the Butlers: Lead end-to-end development of our first three flagship apps, including writing specs, defining success metrics, and focusing on "Time to Magic" for non-technical users.
  • Hardware-Software Synthesis: Work closely with ML engineers to understand edge computing constraints and turn them into product advantages.
  • Iterative Loop: Build feedback systems to capture user interactions and refine the product based on real-world data.

Requirements

  • The "Startup Native" Pedigree: 8+ years in Product Management, with at least 3 years in an early-stage (Seed/Series A) leadership role.
  • Technical Depth: Understanding the difference between cloud-based LLMs and edge-based NPUs, and ability to engage with ML researchers.
  • Agentic Intuition: Strong point of view on the future of Agentic UX, believing in integrated intelligence over more apps.
  • Distribution Mindset: Knowledge of the unique power of a pre-install moat and ability to design products that provide immediate value to users.
  • Communication: Ability to simplify complex concepts for investors and non-technical users.

Qualifications

  • Experience in defining and executing product strategies for early-stage companies.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products.
  • Strong understanding of AI and its applications, particularly in edge computing environments.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience with product management in the tech industry, preferably in the AI or IoT space.
