About the role
Aurelian is seeking its first Product Manager to lead the development and growth of its conversational AI solutions for 9-1-1 centers. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for customer-centric product development, and a track record of driving successful product launches.
Responsibilities
- Define and own a product area, working closely with engineers, marketers, and implementation specialists to ensure successful product delivery.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and translate these insights into actionable product strategies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement features that improve emergency response workflows.
- Work with the founders to set and achieve product goals, ensuring alignment with company vision and strategy.
- Drive the product through the entire lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product management, preferably in the tech industry.
- Strong technical background with a deep understanding of conversational AI and its applications in emergency response systems.
- Experience in defining and executing product roadmaps, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of product initiatives and driving them to completion.
- Passion for making a positive impact in public safety infrastructure and a commitment to excellence in product development.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant product management experience.
- Experience with agile methodologies and product development processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
Skills
- Expertise in conversational AI and its integration into emergency response systems.
- Strong project management and leadership skills.
- Experience with user research and design thinking methodologies.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of data analytics and metrics-driven decision-making.
