About the role

We're looking for our first Founding Business Development Representative to accelerate pipeline for Centari's fastest-growing market segments. You'll be on the front lines of our GTM motion: identifying and engaging partners, associates, and practice group leaders at AmLaw 100 firms and senior dealmakers at financial institutions. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role at a company where outbound motions directly shape company trajectory.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, and phone
  • Qualify inbound leads through structured discovery and route opportunities to Account Executives
  • Book qualified meetings that convert to pipeline—success is measured by quality, not just activity
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to align outreach with campaigns, events, and product launches
  • Maintain accurate CRM records of all activity, notes, and pipeline status in HubSpot
  • Surface prospect feedback, competitive intel, and market insights to sharpen messaging
  • Support events and conferences with pre- and post-engagement to maximize pipeline impact

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of experience in a BDR, SDR, or outbound sales role in B2B SaaS, legal tech, fintech, or professional services
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple outreach streams
  • Curiosity and coachability—you learn quickly and apply feedback
  • Resilience and goal orientation—you move fast and don't let "no" slow you down
  • Proficiency with CRM (HubSpot preferred), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement tools
