About the role
Bunkerhill Health is hiring the first Forward Deployed Product Leads to work directly with health systems and own the successful deployment of AI-enabled care delivery. This is a hands-on role where you will design, configure, and deploy AI workflows and agents inside Bunkerhill’s platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, test, and refine AI agents and prompt logic within the platform using modern LLM tools.
- Formalize clinical reasoning and workflow logic into structured, reliable, and audit-friendly agent designs.
- Evaluate outputs against clinical and operational expectations; debug edge cases and failure modes.
- Develop reusable workflow patterns and agent templates that can be deployed across customers.
- Map current-state clinical workflows and design future-state workflows that incorporate AI agents and automation.
- Assemble end-to-end solutions using Bunkerhill’s platform (data inputs → AI agents → work queues → clinician UI → reporting).
- Identify product gaps encountered in the field and write concise product briefs to unlock new capabilities, speed deployments, and expand into new specialties.
- Partner closely with engineering and product teams to refine, prioritize, and ship improvements.
- Serve as the primary day-to-day partner for health system customers, working with frontline staff (schedulers, nurses, coordinators), managers, and executive leaders.
- Run structured discovery to understand current workflows, pain points, clinical constraints, and operational goals.
- Translate ambiguous problems into clearly scoped deployments with defined success criteria.
- Drive change management: timelines, stakeholder alignment, training sessions, rollout plans, and adoption tracking.
- Build trust through clear, respectful communication at every level of the organization.
Requirements
- A strong sense of ownership and comfort with accountability for real-world outcomes.
- A solid clinical foundation and ability to quickly learn new clinical domains and workflows.
- Comfort working directly with both frontline clinical staff and senior executives.
- An interest in product building: seeing patterns across customers, writing clearly, and focusing on scalable solutions.
- An excitement about LLMs as practical tools for building durable workflows, not just demos.
- A structured and analytical approach, yet pragmatic and scrappy in imperfect environments.
Qualifications
- Experience building within platforms, configuring complex systems, or deploying operational workflows is a strong fit.
- Real impact at leading health systems: Bunkerhill’s Carebricks platform is live at UTMB Health, Cleveland Clinic, Mayo Clinic, and dozens of other hospitals.
- Award-winning AI implementation: Bunkerhill was named “Best in AI Implementation” in Inc.’s 2025 Best in Business Awards.
- Regulatory and clinical credibility: Our platform incorporates FDA-cleared algorithms, including models for cardiovascular findings.
- A chance to help define the category: Bunkerhill’s mission is to close the gap between AI’s potential and its reality in clinical practice.
