About the role

Ryder is hiring a Part-time Forklift Operator in Tracy, California. This position offers weekly pay and a supportive career environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions such as loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
  • Auditing, staging, and loading/unloading of products and trucks.
  • Handling paperwork in a warehouse environment, including picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.
  • Providing technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during peak production hours.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience.
  • A valid Forklift Operator's License certified.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • An ability to work in a diverse work environment.
  • A high degree of initiative and accuracy.
  • The ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.
  • Adequate attendance and punctuality.
  • The ability to work flexible schedules.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 an hour. Employees may also be eligible for Shift Premium.

Schedule

Up to 30 hours per week with flexible schedule options.
