About the Role

During your internship, you’ll gain real-world experience working with talented professionals in investigative accounting engagements. These involve working with commercial property insurers to evaluate physical damage and business income losses suffered by businesses resulting from catastrophes. Projects may include:

  • Reviewing and analyzing historical financial and industry information
  • Revenue and expense projections
  • Insurance claim evaluations
  • Economic damage evaluations

Assignments provide exposure to a wide range of industries, from small local retail stores to multinational entities.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior level student
  • Accounting major
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Proficient understanding of Microsoft Windows and Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel (intermediate or advanced level)
  • Openness to training in other Windows-based applications
  • Motivation and enthusiasm; ability to learn new skills and apply them to client work

Schedule

Start and end dates are flexible (May 2027 - August 2027). Part-time internships require 20–29 hours per week, while full-time internships require a minimum of 30 hours per week, with an expectation of up to 40 hours. This opportunity is fully onsite.

Pay

Base compensation for this role typically ranges between $30 - $32 an hour, depending on individual candidate experience, qualifications, and comparable benchmarks.
