Accounting Specialist

Nguyen & Tarbet is an Intellectual Property (IP) Law Firm in Tucson seeking a smart, hard-working Accounting Clerk. We encourage serious candidates willing to commit to a long-term relationship to apply.

Responsibilities

• Work together and report to the Senior Accountant, Accounting Associate, Business Analyst, and Director of Operations
• Support day-to-day accounting operations of the legal services
• Generate and send all invoices to clients
• Assist with Accounts receivable
• Assist with Accounts payable
• Assist with Bookkeeping
• Communicate with clients regarding overdue accounts
• Ability to understand legal jargon and legal description of scope of work done by the law firm

Requirements

• Must be very organized, detail-oriented, and accurate
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Prefer accounting experience with QuickBooks, LEDES, and Google Sheets
• College degree in Accounting/Finance is preferred
• College transcript with a minimum GPA of 3.5 required
