About the Role
We are looking for our "Super Bowl quarterback" to step in and run the service department. As our Ford Service Writer/Manager, you will be the key operational driver connecting our customers, field technicians, and administrative operations. Responsibilities
- Act as the central operational hub and customer liaison, managing service intakes, repair orders, and job scheduling.
- Lead the service department with high integrity, acting as the quarterback who organizes workflow between office administration and field operations.
- Translate technical repair requirements into clear, actionable estimates and timelines for residential, commercial, and government clients.
- Oversee warranty claims, Ford service protocols, and parts coordination to minimize machine downtime and maximize shop throughput.
- Manage billing, project completion metrics, and client communications to ensure a seamless service experience from drop-off to delivery.
- Foster positive team morale and mentor administrative and technical staff to maintain peak operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in service writing, service management, or dealership office administration.
- Proven track record of leadership capability with the drive and personality to quarterback a busy service environment.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills paired with high personal integrity.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Position is 100% onsite in Reedsburg, WI with no travel required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working specifically with Ford service systems, warranty administration, or specialized fleet software.
- Background handling service logistics for agricultural, civil, or heavy construction equipment.
- Familiarity with project completion metrics, customer commission models, and dealership administrative workflows.
