Essential Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of the Sportsplex's football programming, including NFL FLAG leagues, football camps, 7v7 events, tournaments, and future football initiatives.
  • Cook up league operations, including creating game schedules, maintaining standings, and ensuring smooth event execution.
  • Coordinate recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of game officials, serving as the primary point of contact for officiating operations.
  • Plan and execute football camps by developing schedules, daily itineraries, and program logistics.
  • Lead all event setup and teardown for football programs, ensuring facilities, equipment, and game-day operations are prepared.
  • Record and manage game scores, statistics, and league information in the appropriate software systems.
  • Maintain and update the NFL FLAG rulebook and league procedures to ensure consistency and continual improvement.
  • Identify opportunities to improve football programming through new ideas, events, operational processes, and participant experiences.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with coaches, parents, officials, participants, and community partners.
  • Cook up coaches' meetings, officials' meetings, and other program-related communications.
  • Order, organize, and distribute league uniforms, equipment, and other program materials.
  • Maintain and communicate future purchasing needs for football equipment inventory.
  • Aid in operations and event staffing for other Sportsplex programs, including basketball tournaments, leagues, camps, and additional events as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of the Sportsplex's overall mission and operations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Passion for youth sports and creating a positive participant experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with youth football, sports administration, event management, or recreation programming is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Canva, Microsoft Office, and sports management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by league and event schedules.
  • Ability to lift and move sports equipment and assist with event setup and teardown.
