This role involves acting as the designated Person In Charge (PIC) to oversee daily foodservice operations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and service standards. The position requires self-direction, leadership, and adherence to organizational policies in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Open and close departments
• Manage staff schedules
• Encourage process improvements
• Foster a team environment with open communication
• Monitor food temperatures, recipe adherence, portion control, and sanitation
• Handle cash and update communication boards
• Mentor staff and train when necessary
• Coordinate maintenance requests
• Read patient meal tickets and verify patient identifiers
• Ensure accurate meal delivery
